Growling, barking and biting.

Growling, barking and biting, these behaviours are often mis interpreted and can lead to fear and confusion.

For many people, these can also be reasons to give a dog up, to place them in a rehoming centre.

The sad reality is these dogs tend to get put down because the people who can take them on are few and far between.

So get educated, get help, understand why you are causing these behaviours in your dog because then you can change.

I have rehomed dogs over the years who have been biters and by creating an environment in which they can relax and de stress, they have never bitten again.

I have worked with three, yes only three dogs in 40 years who were beyond help so the chances are your dog is able to change and be saved.

It all depends on you being prepared to put some work in, to be prepared to change.

You literally have your dogs life in your hands. Get help that does not require to be throwing food around as that does not change behaviour, it just distracts and only distracts it doesn't change the dogs mind, some dogs then see unwanted behaviour as a means to get treats.
